Instead, if we decide to open the sloppy brown drapes in our Tower King Room at the Mill Casino in Coos Bay, we see the length of the Lodge building to our left (completely blocking the bay), the parking lot at center, with back water of the bay beyond it (bay view), framed by a pile of sawdust two stories high. We should have stayed home, as we can see the ocean from our backyard. The one we paid $600 for, no coffee maker, no microwave. These are representative of the real view, not the promised view. The Mill Casino mis-represented their product & then didn’t make it right. We were offered a room higher up, but when I asked if the view was the same just from a higher floor, she replied: “Pretty much.” At least she was honest. I called the Front Desk to express my concern immediately. The Tower Room Suite on the 3rd floor looks like your average Best Western, without the Plus. The pictures were lovely, & since these rooms were the same price as the Lodge rooms, we figured we’d be good. The ‘Lodge Annex’ wing with bay view rooms where we usually stay was full, so we were guided to the ‘Tower Room Suites’ with partial bay view rooms. Made reservations well in advance for our anniversary trip here for the last week in September.
